A Bit About Us

Tyler Cheeseman, our founder, was planning to go into the Fire Academy after high school. With a love of horticulture and the need to find a summer job, he bought a lawnmower and a pick-up truck in the hopes of picking up a few lawns to get thru summer with a few dollars in his pocket. Well, what was summer! Before he knew it, he had a full-fledged lawn care business with enough clients to keep him busy full-time and the need to hire a crew. Loving on what he was doing, he decided to put off the fire academy to build his business further.

Almost five years later, and with over 150 residential and commercial customers, the business is thriving. At 22 years old, and having found great success thus far, he has decided to oversee growing the Landscaping Division (which is his passion) and pass all business operations to co-owner Melodie Cavanaugh.  Melodie possesses 20 years of experience in directing Operations and Human Resource Departments for multi-million dollar companies at the Executive Director level. We currently have a full-time Landscaping Division and a Lawn-care Servicing Division. We recently set up Compound Property Maintenance and are expanding our services to build CPM as the Commercial Division of TJC Landscapes and More.  With a growing team and a young dynamic workforce, backed by an experienced leader in executive management of multi-million dollar organizations, TJC is "mowin' on up!
